All our Courses include online Anatomy Foundations Modules that delve into the essential anatomy knowledge necessary for effective and safe Pilates instruction.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
- Movement types and terms – anatomical positions, planes and other relevant anatomical terms.
- Musculoskeletal system – bones: functions, types, the skeleton, bony landmarks; joints – functions, types, structure; muscles – types, structure, contractions, origins, insertions; ligaments, tendons, cartilage – structure and functions.
- Neck & trunk – bones, joints, muscles, posture, conditions and injuries.

ANATOMY EXEMPTIONS
Can prior Anatomy accreditation exempt me from the Anatomy Course?
Yes! If you have already completed the Anatomy Foundations Course with Addicted to Pilates, You do not need to take it again for any additional courses You enrol in with us. Just email us when You enrol in Your next course.
If You have studied Anatomy elsewhere, You may be eligible for an exemption. Simply email us a copy of Your certificate of completion for review, and we will let You know if it meets our requirements.
